Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two time world boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really proceeding.
