The speculation about The Game Awards reached a fever pitch, especially after presenter Geoff Keighley posted a puzzling photo of a desert monolith. The mystery has been revealed. Larian Studios is creating a completely new Divinity game.
Titled simply Divinity, the game was debuted with a bold trailer that included memorable imagery, from a figure engulfed in flames to an orgy and the very unleashing of hell.
Not the Expected Sequel
Anyone hoping for Divinity Original Sin 3, this is not that. Larian stated ahead of time that a third Original Sin game to its critically acclaimed RPGs is not on the cards right now.
However, the developer described this new Divinity as a continuation of the main series. This choice of words implies that the team is likely building a more action-oriented experience as opposed to another tactical title. Currently, we can only guess, as only a teaser video is available.

The Divinity series is universally respected and arguably it pioneered the contemporary revival of deep computer role-playing games.
